The Flat Mount will keep the TV close against the wall which allows for a clean look from the side of the TV. The thinnest mounts extend just 1 inch from the wall; the majority the flat mounts are less than 2 inches. The Flat Mount simply hangs the flat screen television on the wall like a picture. This mount does not pan, tilt or rotate; you will see no wires from the side view.
